Four-time Gemini Winner, Louis De Ernsted, is passionate about
many things in his life-but two hold pre-eminence. The first is
film-making .The second is sailing. De Ernsted has moved to the West
Coast of Canada in order to combine these passions.

strike a different balance. Relocating to the West Coast offers me the
opportunity to join a vibrant entertainment community. It also opens up
the pursuit of new areas of production in Latin America."
Louis De Ernsted has many years of experience in the Canadian, American and European Film and Television industry .
As
a Director of Photography, 2nd Unit Director of Photography and Camera
Operator, Louis De Ernsted has racked up a world of experiences, while
tackling the whole gamut of entertainment genres. Feature Films,
Narrative Documentaries, Television Series and Commercials, have taken
him to far-flung locations from Tunisia to the High Arctic, Asia to the
deserts of Africa, Paris to the slums of Latin America and all points
in-between.
